About
Introduction
Hi everyone, Soon Seng here.
I am a practicing pharmacist who believes my writing can help summarize academic books, clinical guidelines and research papers for easier learning for future fresh pharmacists.
- I understand navigate this path independently can be challenging, so I would like to share some insights.
Content
Honestly, thig blog is purely driven by my passion.
- I am not here to sell supplements or push specific perspectives.
- The notes are a simplification of what I have learned about pharmacy.
- However, the medical field is constantly evolving, making the long-term sustainability of this project a concern.
Over the years, my writing has broadened to encompass more areas of interest including technology, photography, book summaries and personal reflections.
Exploring self-improvement through various books has been a rewarding journey, and I believe it would be beneficial for our readers.
- This exploration has led me to appreciate the importance of empathetic listening. People need to feel heard to fulfil their desire for significance.
- It is also fruitless to argue with people because they will just get more defensive. Even if you win an argument, the relationship might suffer.
- Highly proactive people do not let themselves be affected by situations. Instead, they choose to control their response, such as by not taking things personally.
- Additionally, to elicit behaviour change, we must first tap into people's intrinsic motivations and then suggest solutions that align with those desires.
- People with varying personalities will have divergent approaches to the same situation. We cannot understand those whose thinking is different from us, and may feel surrounded by idiots.
- To truly love someone, it is important to understand what they desire most, because people value things differently.
Nonetheless, constantly bombarding minds with great ideas is leading nowhere.
- I need to stop and take a break to move forward further.
- Ideas are merely ideas and would not be part of our identity.
The Way Forward
You are absolutely right; I am currently taking a break from writing new pharmacy content to live in the moment.
- Existing topics are updated only when there are major developments.
Your participation in a short survey would be greatly appreciated.
- With a large number of topics to maintain, the effort required becomes enormous.
- Furthermore, is this effort justified if it does not benefit anyone else?
- Your answers, especially regarding what topics you find interesting and would like to see more of, will be very helpful in deciding the future direction of the blog.
Summary
I am excited to see where this journey has taken me, both in terms of content creation and personal growth.
- Thank you for joining me so far!
- I am always interested in hearing from readers!
